At our state-of-the-art Chinese foundry and manufacturing facility, Lihuacasting specializes in producing high-performance trailer suspension springs (leaf springs) designed to withstand the most demanding road conditions and heavy-duty hauling environments. Combining robust material selection with precision engineering, we deliver OEM/ODM solutions tailored to your exact specifications.
Trailer suspension springs are critical components that support vehicle weight, absorb road shocks, and ensure stable towing alignment. Our heavy-duty leaf springs are widely used across diverse industries:
Commercial & Freight Trailers: Essential for flatbeds, dry vans, and enclosed trailers that require consistent stability under heavy, continuous highway loads.
Construction & Dump Trailers: Engineered to endure high tongue weights and uneven terrain for dump trailers, utility trailers, and equipment haulers.
Agriculture & Farming Equipment: Utilized in agricultural wagons, grain trailers, and heavy farm implements operating in rough, unpaved fields.
Boat & Marine Trailers: Specially treated to handle frequent water exposure and high-humidity environments.
Light Utility & Recreational Vehicles (RVs): Providing a smooth, safe ride for travel trailers, horse trailers, and cargo haulers.

The reliability of a suspension spring begins with the chemistry of its steel. To guarantee exceptional tensile strength, elasticity, and resistance to fatigue, we manufacture our leaf springs using premium, internationally certified spring steel grades. Depending on your market requirements, we support standards including:
SUP9 / SUP9A (JIS Standard): The industry benchmark for commercial trailer springs, offering an optimal balance of hardness and toughness.
60Si2Mn (GB Standard): Highly valued for its excellent elasticity, high yield strength, and superior resistance to sagging under sustained loads.
5160 / 5160H (SAE/ASTM Standard): A premier chromium alloy spring steel favored by North American OEMs for its extreme durability and high fatigue life.
OEM Support: We provide full chemical composition traceability and material certificates for every batch to ensure conformity with your local industrial standards.

1. Step 1: Precision Cutting & Eye Forming: Steel bars are cut to precise lengths. The ends are heated and rolled into "eyes" using automated forming machines to ensure exact bushing alignment.
2. Step 2: Tapering & Punching: The ends are tapered for smooth inter-leaf friction transition, and center holes are punched with mechanical precision.
3. Step 3: Hardening & Tempering (Heat Treatment): This is the core process. The leaf plates are heated above their critical temperature, quenched in oil, and then tempered. This alters the microstructure of the steel to achieve the ideal hardness ($400\text{--}460\text{ HB}$) and maximum fatigue resistance.
4. Step 4: Shot Peening: The surface of each leaf is bombarded with high-velocity steel shot. This introduces compressive residual stress, which dramatically increases the spring's resistance to stress-cracking and extends its operational life by up to 300%.
5. Step 5: Assembly & Load Testing: Leaves are aligned, fitted with center bolts and alignment clips, and then subjected to 100% preset and load-testing to verify rate deflection and free arch height.
Trailer suspension springs are constantly exposed to harsh environments, including road salt, moisture, and debris, making them highly susceptible to rust. To eliminate premature corrosion and failure, we offer two premium, automotive-grade surface treatment options:
Option A: Advanced Powder Coating
The Process: An electrostatic spray process applies a dry thermo-plastic or thermoset polymer powder, which is then cured under heat to form a hard skin.
The Advantage: Provides a thick, heavy-duty barrier that is highly resistant to scratching, chipping, UV rays, and chemical corrosion. Ideal for commercial over-the-road trailers.
Option B: Anti-Rust Electrophoresis (E-Coating)
The Process: The assembled or individual leaves are fully submerged in an electrified paint bath, ensuring the coating bonds perfectly into every microscopic pore and internal crevice.
The Advantage: Offers 100% complete coverage (including between the leaf plates) with superior salt-spray resistance. This represents the ultimate anti-corrosion tech for marine/boat trailers and extreme weather fleets.
Whether you need high-volume standard multi-leaf springs or fully customized parabolic/taper leaf springs, our factory delivers unparalleled quality, competitive pricing, and rapid lead times.
